No. 18 LSU basketball top scorers Xavier Pinson and Darius Days are not in the starting lineup for the Tigers' matchup against Texas A&M on Wednesday.

Days, a forward, re-injured his ankle last Saturday against Tennessee but returned to the game in the second quarter. He originally sustained the injury against Alabama last Wednesday.

Pinson, the staring point guard, has been out since Jan. 8 with a knee sprain that he suffered against Tennessee.

Guard Justice Williams and forwards Alex Fudge and Tari Eason will make their first career starts against the Aggies.

Days and Pinson are LSU's second and third-leading scorers on the season, respectively. Pinson is averaging 10.9 points per night and leads the team in assists and steals per game. Days is scoring 13.1 points per night on 41.8% shooting from the floor.

LSU has gone 1-3 since Pinson's injury.

The Tigers are 15-4 on the season and 3-4 in SEC play. They have lost their last three games to Arkansas, Alabama and Tennessee.
