LSU is expected to hire West Virginia Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Operating Officer Keli Zinn to the same role, per ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Zinn will replace former LSU COO Stephanie Rempe, who left to take the athletics director position at Nevada last month. LSU Athletics Director Scott Woodward and the university have not yet formally announced Zinn's hiring.

At WVU, Zinn has overseen operation for all 18 of the university's sports, handling an annual budget worth more than $93 million.

A native of Petersburg, West Virginia, Zinn graduated from West Virginia and has spent the last 12 years in sports administration at her alma mater, including interim athletics director from December 2014 to February 2015, the first woman to do so at WVU.

Zinn has served as West Virginia's Senior Woman's Administrator within the Big 12 Conference as well as NCAA Governance groups.

Her involvement in national and conference committees has been extensive, highlighted by her time as chairperson of the NCAA Division I Legislative Committee, the NCAA D-I Committee on Student-Athlete Reinstatement.

Before returning to her alma mater, Zinn was at Maryland for six years, working in compliance, earning the title of associate athletic director for compliance the last five years she was there.
