East Tennessee State offensive lineman Tre'Mond Shorts has transferred to LSU, he announced on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-4, 335-pound Shorts has one season of eligibility after four years as a starter with the Buccaneers of FCS. He is the 10th player LSU has added from the transfer portal.

Shorts was a first-team All-Southern Conference selection in the coaches and media poll the last two seasons. He adds experience to an LSU offensive line that has lost four starters.

Liam Shanahan, Austin Deculus, Ed Ingram and Chasen Hines are no longer eligible to return or have declared for the NFL Draft. Junior tackle Cam Wire is LSU's only returning starter.

LSU added Freshman All-America tackle, Miles Frazier from the portal in December, making Shorts its second veteran addition to the offensive line. The Tigers also signed five-star offensive tackle Will Campbell, four-star guard Emery Jones, and three-star recruits Fitzgerald West Jr. and Bo Bordelon during the early signing period last month.
