LSU football defensive line coach Jamar Cain leaves for Denver Broncos, NFL
BATON ROUGE ― LSU football defensive line coach Jamar Cain is leaving for an assistant coaching position with the Denver Broncos in the NFL, defensive lineman Jacobian Guillory confirmed Saturday after the team's practice.
Cain will be a pass rush specialist coach in Denver, according to NFL Network. He told the team before Saturday's practice that he was leaving, Guillory said.
"He always told us, like, 'My goal is getting to the league.' He got his goal. You can't even be nothing but happy for him," Guillory said. "I'm just glad to be coached by coach Cain."

Cain spent one season in Baton Rouge after serving as Oklahoma's outside linebackers and defensive ends coach for two seasons. Prior to his time in Norman, he spent time as the defensive line coach at Arizona State and Fresno State.
"Last year ... we (would) bump heads so much every day, yelling at each other. I was like, 'Nah, I can't stand this guy,' " Guillory said. "And now I'm like ... I don't know if I want to be coached by anyone else.
"Man, what weren't we bumping heads about? (It was) about me being lazy. Me being fat."
Besides his work as an on-field coach, Cain was also instrumental as a recruiter for the Tigers. LSU added five-star defensive lineman Da'Shawn Womack, four-star edge rusher Jaxon Howard and brought in numerous players from the transfer portal this offseason to beef up the line.
With Cain gone, Guillory says that he does not know who LSU's next defensive coach will be.
"Whoever comes here, I'm ready to work," Guillory said.
