LSU football lands Joseph Stone, 2024 four-star wide receiver from Georgia

Four-star Class of 2024 wide receiver Joseph Stone Jr. from Georgia pledged his commitment to LSU football Monday afternoon.

Stone, who goes by JoJo, is listed as an athlete by recruiting services and could eventually see playing time at multiple positions on the offensive side of the ball for the Tigers.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect from Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia, picked LSU over his home-state Bulldogs. Stone held more than 35 offers, including Ohio State, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

He was last on campus in Baton Rouge on June 21 and took visits to Texas A&M and Oklahoma afterward, per his Twitter page.

Since the beginning of July, head coach Brian Kelly and LSU have garnered commitments from 10 players in the 2023 and 2024 classes. The addition of Stone gives the Tigers three commits for the current high school junior class to rank seventh in the country, per the 247Sports Composite.

Stone is rated by 247Sports the 85th-best recruit in 2024 as well as the No. 14 athlete nationally.
