Here are the LSU football players that have declared for the 2022 NFL Draft

LSU football has developed a reputation for developing talent for the NFL.

At the start of the 2021 season, LSU football had the third most players from its program on NFL rosters with 47 — only trailing Alabama and Ohio State.

Former LSU wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase are second and fourth, respectively, in the league in receiving yards heading into Week 18. Joe Burrow, Chase's teammate at LSU and now the Cincinnatti Bengals, leads the NFL in yards thrown per attempt among quarterbacks who have completed over 100 passes.

All three stars were first-round picks and teammates on LSU's 2019 national championship-winning team. Joining them, along with the long list of LSU alums, in the NFL next season will be a new crop of talented Tigers.

Here's a list of LSU football players who have declared for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Derek Stingley Jr.

Stingley is projected to be a top-five selection in the draft. A former five-star recruit, the star cornerback was a consensus All-American as a freshman in 2019 and made the Coaches and AP All-SEC teams the next season. He only played in three games due to injury this season but is still expected to be the Tiger selected highest in the draft.

Damone Clark

Clark finished off his time at LSU with a bang. The senior linebacker had a career-high 136 total tackles in 2021, patrolling the middle of the field and keeping LSU's defense afloat despite critical injuries hampering the unit throughout the season.

Cordale Flott

Flott was trusted into a greater role than what was expected after injuries to Stingley and Eli Ricks made Flott the Tigers' No. 1 cornerback for the final five games of the regular season. But the junior was up to the task, grabbing an interception and making 40 total tackles on the season.

Cade York

York had a fantastic final season as LSU's kicker. He converted on 15-18 field goal attempts, including five from 50 yards or more. He also set the Tiger Stadium record for the longest made field goal in stadium history, connecting on a 55-yard attempt against McNeese State. He then broke his own record in the second halfby making a 56-yard attempt. York will forego his senior season by entering the draft.

Neil Farrell

Farrell was LSU's top defensive tackle and along with Clark also represented the heart of the Tigers' defense. Farrell finishes his career at LSU with 144 total tackles and 7.5 sacks across five seasons.

Tyrion Davis-Price

Davis-Price had a career year in 2021, leading the Tigers in rushing yards with 1,003 and accumulating more than twice as many carries as he had the season before. The junior running back stepped up as LSU's lead ball-carrier and flourished in the second half of the season, rushing for at least 3.8 yards per carry in all but one of the Tigers' final seven regular-season contests.

Ed Ingram

Ingram was a four-year starter along LSU's offensive line. A backup to begin his freshman year, Ingram earned a starting spot for the final 12 games of the 2017 season. He sat out the 2018 season after he was charged with two felony counts of aggravated sexual assault of a minor in August of that year. He was suspended for nearly 14 months before getting reinstated to the team in Sept. 2019 after the charges were dismissed.

Cam Lewis

Lewis finishes his sixth season at LSU with a career-high 54 total tackles in 2021, including 87 overall. He's been a steady contributor on LSU's defense and special teams over the past three seasons, most notably making three tackles in the College Football Playoff semifinal against Oklahoma.

Avery Atkins

Atkins declares for the draft after four seasons as LSU's kickoff specialist. He took over LSU's punting duties this past season, kicking it away 62 times for an averaged of 42.6 yards. The Auburn, Alabama native's season-long punt was 56 yards and in 2020 he finished eighth in the nation in touchbacks.

Austin Deculus

Deculus was a four-year starter at right tackle for the Tigers Deculus is the only player in program history to appear in 60 or more games and was a member of the Tigers' leadership council. Born in Mamou, Deculus was a four-star recruit out of high school at Cy-Fair in Cypress, Texas.

Jontre Kirklin

Kirklin, a wide receiver, was LSU's starting quarterback against Kansas State in the Texas Bowl. He had three touchdown passes and two interceptions in his only appearance at quarterback for LSU after playing the position in high school. In four seasons with the Tigers, Kirklin had 20 catches for 313 yards and three scores. He announced his intention to enter the draft on Jan. 10.

Chasen Hines

Hines, a senior offensive guard, accepted an invitation to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Jan. 3 but did not make an official decision about whether he was entering the NFL Draft until Jan. 13. This past season was the former four-star recruit's second as a starter for LSU.
