LSU football score vs. Purdue: Live updates from the Citrus Bowl in Orlando
ORLANDO, FL - No. 17 LSU football will look to score double-digit wins this season when it takes on Purdue in Orlando, Florida for the Citrus Bowl on Monday (Noon, ABC).
The Tigers (9-4) enter the matchup nearly a month following their 50-30 loss to Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. They have lost consecutive games after entering the final week of the regular season at 9-2 and with the No. 5 slot in the College Football Playoff rankings.
LSU (No. 15 AFCA Coaches/No. 16 AP) lost to Texas A&M to end the regular season before facing the Bulldogs in the SEC title game.
Purdue (8-5) also heads into Monday's matchup having lost its conference title game. The Boilermakers, the Big Ten West champions, lost 43-22 to Michigan in the Big Ten title game on Dec. 3.
This is the first time LSU has ever faced Purdue and the sixth time the Tigers have played in the Citrus Bowl.
