Alabama transfer Aaron Anderson to miss time for LSU football following knee surgery | Report

BATON ROUGE - LSU football wide receiver Aaron Anderson is expected to miss time this spring recovering from offseason knee surgery, according to On3 Sports.

However, according to the report, Anderson is expected to be ready for the Tigers' season opener on Sept. 3 against Florida State.

Anderson transferred to LSU from Alabama this offseason. He was the No. 1 recruit in Louisiana's 2022 class, according to 247Sports Composite, and attended Edna Karr in New Orleans.

Anderson was the only offensive addition among the 11 players the Tigers added in the transfer portal this winter. He joins a deep LSU wide receivers group that includes leading wideout Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr., Chris Hilton Jr., Kyren Lacy and freshmen signees Shelton Sampson Jr., Kyle Parker, Khai Prean and Jalen Brown.
