LSU Health to reopen Chevyland COVID testing site on Monday

LSU Health Shreveport announced Friday morning that the community vaccine and testing site will resume operation at North Campus site, Monday, Jan. 24.

The Center for Emerging Viral Threats will resume operations at the former Chevyland dealership site. This comes after the CVET moved the site to the Louisiana State Fairgrounds in early Jan. due to the increase in COVID cases.

LSU Health Shreveport said that both sites will be open to to reduce wait times and to accommodate more individuals.

COVID testing and vaccinations at the North Campus site will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Vaccines and COVID testing at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds are available today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be closed on Saturday, Jan. 22.
