BATON ROUGE – LSU women's basketball is trying to win one more than it did in Kim Mulkey's first year as head coach last season.

That means winning a second straight NCAA Tournament game and reach the Sweet Sixteen. No. 3 seed Tigers (29-2) will try to do just that as they host No. 6 Michigan (23-9) in the second round at Pete Maravich Assembly Center Sunday night (6:30 p.m., ESPN).

Sophomore star Angel Reese is coming off a spectacular performance in the first-round win against Hawaii in the opening round with 34 points and 15 rebounds, the first Southeastern Conference player in 100 years to do so.
