The Daily Advertiser asked her about the hat, and Mulkey responded by singing a few lyrics from country music star George Strait and even sneaking in a joke about her ex-husband.

"They gave us these hats, and I was looking for some cowboy boots," Mulkey said. "They didn't have that. But I love country music, and I just thought it was appropriate. I was going to come in here and sing, 'All my exes live in Texas.'

"Which is true. I only have one, though, only been married once. But then I'm going to end with this, [singing] 'I'm the happiest girl in the whole USA.'"

Since her hire at LSU before last season, Mulkey and her flamboyant gameday coaching outfits have become must-see moments in women's college basketball.
