LTA: Raducanu a boost for UK grassroots tennis
"Emma has always been so disciplined, you can see her focus," said Chief Executive Scott Lloyd.
"You don't be as successful as she is now without being utterly professional. But the person that you see on TV is the person that you see here at the LTA's National Tennis Centre. She is so down to earth, polite, friendly. Great values and a real credit to her parents and all her family.
"There is no question that (the final) has got the opportunity to be a real turning point (for women's tennis). Emma and Leylah Fernandez from Canada are incredible role models and Saturday's final is going to be inspiring on so many different levels, but obviously for us we are just proud and so excited to see what Emma can go and do from here."
The final will mark the first Grand Slam final to be contested by two teenagers since the 1999 U.S. Open between Serena Williams and Martina Hingis.
Both Raducanu, 18, and Fernandez, who turned 19 this week, were yet to be born then.
