Lu Ann Stoia, a longtime reporter at WSYX ABC6 and WTTE FOX28 in Columbus, has announced that she will not be renewing her contract and will be leaving the station on Friday.
After over a decade of reporting in the area and 48 years in the communication business, the Emmy Award-winning journalist has decided to step away from her role in journalism.
"Journalism has been my 'calling,' and now I am looking forward to serving our community in new ways," she stated in a Facebook post. "What an awesome run. A big thank you to all who have been there along the way."
