Lubbock-based engineering firm announces new leadership for development, growth

Lubbock-based Parkhill, a multidisciplinary engineering and architecture firm, has announced a new vice president to help with community development and growth in three states.

Drew Hardin was named as the Senior Vice President of Community Development and Growth, and will "focus on business development and firmwide strategies to better serve communities across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma," according to a news release.

Hardin has more than 30 years of experience in design, management and organizational leadership, and has worked on civil infrastructure projects in the public and private sectors.

"Throughout his career, Drew has exhibited tremendous integrity and a genuine passion for serving people. His values are consistent with how we go about our work here," said Jay Edwards, Parkhill president. "As a key member of our Strategic Leadership Team, I believe Drew’s vast experience and expertise within the industry will greatly benefit the communities we serve. I look forward to working directly with him to advance our mission and vision of Building Community and Enhancing Lives."

Prior to taking the position with Parkhill, he was Vice President and Shareholder for Fort Worth-based Freese and Nichols, Inc., and Vice President and Director for Lockwood, Andrews & Newman. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University and is a member of Chi Epsilon National Civil Engineering Honor Society, the American Water Works Association (AWWA), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), and the American Public Works Association (APWA).
