The cards came from all over, ranging from a birthday greeting from Lubbock Mayor Tray Payne to a card from the office of Former President Donald Trump.

Schneider described her grandmother as a woman of varied interests.

"She loves birds, gardening and watching sports," Schneider said. Owen spent her birthday with family and attending Saturday's Texas Tech Lady Raiders basketball game against Texas Christian University at United Supermarkets Arena. Tech would win the game 71-65. She celebrated with a meal at Rave On in Buddy Holly Hall.
