Lucas girls, St. Peters boys lead the way in All-Mid-Buckeye Conference track selections
The Lucas girls and St. Peters boys led the way for Richland County in most selections on the recently announced All-Mid-Buckeye Conference track and field teams.
The Lucas girls, who finished second for the team title behind champion Loudonville, swept the two major awards with Shelby Grover named Track MVP and Sydnee Blackledge named Field MVP.
Loudonville's Alex Bates was named coach of the year.
Peyton Bodnar, who led the St. Peters boys to the MBC team title, was named Track MVP. Collin Arnold of third-place Lucas was the Field MVP, and St. Peters's Bruce Woodson was coach of the year.
