FINDLAY — When you earn awards like Mid-Buckeye Conference Player of the Year and first team All-District 6, it is hard to top.

But Lucas junior Logan Toms did just that. Toms was named the Division IV Northwest District Player of the Year by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association along with Jerome Kloepper of Vanlue and Landon Brewer of Antwerp.

Toms averaged 16 points, six rebounds and three assists for the five-time Mid-Buckeye Conference champion Cubs. He led the team to an undefeated league championship as well as a district runner-up finish.

Mansfield Christian's Amarr Davis was a second-team selection, while Lucas' Corbin Toms earned third-team honors and Lucas' Andrew Smollen and Adidan Culler, St. Peter's Feree Kent, Plymouth's Owen Reynolds and Mansfield Christina's Griffin Baker were honorable mention.

Here is the complete list of Division IV All-Northwest District boys basketball players.
