COLUMBUS — For the third time in her incredible high school athletic career, Lucas senior Shelby Grover can say she is a basketball All-Ohioan.

After earning Division IV Northwest District Player of the Year honors, Grover was voted as a first team All-Ohioan by a panel of members from the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. Grover, who missed half of the season with a broken ankle, was also a first team All-District 6 and first team All-Mid-Buckeye Conference selection. Lucas went 1-8 without Grover in the lineup and 8-4 with her in it including a tournament win to finish 10-13 on the year. Grover scored 22 points and added 9.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game during her senior season.

Grover was a 3-sport All-Ohioan during her junior year earning it in volleyball, basketball and track and is on pace to repeat that accomplishment this spring. She is headed to Kent State University to run track next year.
