Lucas' Shelby Grover named Mid-Buckeye Conference Volleyball Player of the Year

Shelby Grover has gone back-to-back.

The Lucas senior was named the 2022 Mid-Buckeye Conference Volleyball Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. Grover recorded 371 kills, 36 solo blocks, 54 total blocks, 45 aces and 387 digs during her senior season. She earned All-Ohio honors last season and is a 1,000-kill and 1,000-dig player for the Cubs.

Joining Grover on first team All-MBC is teammate Maleigha Strickler as well as Mansfield Christian's Raegan Standridge.
