Are Lucid Motors EVs available for lease in Rhode Island? | Ask the RI DMV
Q: Can you lease a Lucid in the state of Rhode Island?
— Michael C.
A: I checked with our Dealer Commission & Regulation Office, which is located on the first floor of the Cranston Division of Motor Vehicles, and Lucid Motors currently does not have a leasing license with the state of Rhode Island.
Lucid Motors could apply for a leasing license, or they could apply for a leasing waiver. Both of these are handled by the Dealer Commission & Regulation Office. The waiver would allow Lucid Motors to lease in Rhode Island up to five vehicles a year.
If you, or Lucid Motors, have any other questions regarding this topic, the Dealer Commission & Regulation Office can be reached at (401) 462-5746.
