Lucy Liu Reveals Still Has Nudes She Took Of Costar Drew Barrymore

Lucy Liu took nude photos of Drew Barrymore 20 years ago while they were making Charlie’s Angels and she still has the receipts.

Liu was appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show when the host brought up the cheeky photoshoot, saying she no longer had the images.

“Do you know what I was actually trying to find?” began Barrymore, “I was trying to find the nude photographs you took of me on the set of Charlie’s in my dressing room.” Sadly, after a “mad scramble” to locate them, she feared they were lost.

But Liu delivered some good news: she still has the images. “You do?” asked a surprised Barrymore.

“I do, of course,” confirmed Liu. “And you’re so natural and playful and having a great time,” she continued. “I have a series of portraits of so many people — with and without clothes on, guys.”

The two went on to discuss their experiences making the film, which forged a friendship between them, despite the rigorous training schedule.

Recalling how difficult it was, “I remember the pain,” Liu revealed. Barrymore also spilled that her costars didn’t always take the “eight hours a day, training five days a week,” schedule as seriously as Liu did, saying she and costar Cameron Diaz “were so naughty” frequently skipping out on the long extra hours.

“She was so good!” Liu recalled with a laugh. “You weren’t.”

The production of Charlie’s Angels has been considered to be mired in controversy, particularly surrounding the dynamics between Liu and costar Bill Murray, who reportedly made “inexcusable and unacceptable” remarks about the actress, who defended herself at the time. Despite this, it’s clear that some long and meaningful friendships were forged on the set between its three leads — and nude photoshoot.
