Ludacris gives thanks to Placer deputies after escort from packed Tahoe concert

(FOX40.COM) — Following a performance at Palisades Tahoe on Saturday, rapper and actor Ludacris showed his appreciation for the security provided by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.

Ludacris and rock band Eve 6 performed a free concert at the Tahoe area ski resort at The Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup.

The multi-platinum artist drew a large crowd that made it difficult for Ludacris to leave Olympic Valley, according to the sheriff’s office.

At one point excited fans surrounded Luda’s vehicle, causing deputies to begin assisting in his safe departure.

When he was finally able to leave the area safely, Ludacris circled back to show his appreciation for the deputies assistance by taking a photo with them.

Less than two weeks before his performance at Palisades, Ludacris performed at Super Bowl LVIII with main performer Usher and fellow guest artists, Lil John, Jermain Dupri, will.i.am, Alicia Keys and H.E.R.
