Ludacris, Kidz Bop first of acts on Ohio State Fair concert schedule this summer

The Ohio State Fair is set to take place from July 26 to Aug. 6, and the concert schedule is beginning to take shape.

The fair is scheduled to feature 13 concerts, including two free ones. The first four performers have been confirmed for the fair, with rapper Ludacris headlining the first set of concert announcements and performing on Aug. 1.

Rock band Styx will perform on Aug. 2 with special guests from British rock band Foghat.

Country artist Tyler Hubbard, who was one of the two members of the former Nashville-duo Florida Georgia Line, will perform on Aug. 3, joined by country singer Matt Stell.

Kidz Bop will perform as part of its Never Stop Live tour on July 26, the first night of the fair.

All concerts will take place indoors at the 10,000-seat Celeste Center in the evening, and tickets for these four shows will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. The other nine concerts will be announced on Feb. 28 and March 7. Each concert ticket purchased includes admission to the fair.

  • Aug. 1 7:30 p.m.: Ludacris ($45-55)

  • Aug. 2, 7 p.m.: Styx with Foghat ($40-50)

  • Aug. 3, 7 p.m.: Tyler Hubbard with Matt Stell ($40-50)
