On 11 August, the Russian invaders tried to break through the defences of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near 14 settlements in the Luhansk region. However, they failed and withdrew.

Quote from Haidai: "The Russians tried to break through the defences of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from different sides near 14 settlements and once again stormed Verkhnokamianske, but retreated to previously occupied positions again."

Details: At night, the occupiers launched a rocket attack on the Luhansk region, firing 7 times from tubed and rocket artillery, and involving tank units in assault operations twice.

During 11 August, the Russians landed eight airstrikes.

Now, according to Haidai, the invaders – despite the fact that they still cannot squeeze the Luhansk region, not to mention the Donetsk region – are confident about the results of their future fake referendum for the annexation of Ukrainian regions to Russia.

He reiterated that ex-president of Russia and current deputy chairman of the Russian Federation Security Council Dmitry Medvedev visited the occupied part of the Luhansk region, promising to repair schools destroyed by the Russians.

Haidai added that the invaders are now demonstrating their concern for the population by distributing free bread or hot lunches, while the Russians do not tell the residents anything about the upcoming winter.

According to the head of the Oblast Military Administration, no one gets the heating system and boiler houses in the occupied cities ready for the heating season.
