The Chief Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defence Ministry reports that Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, is aware that the announcement of partial mobilisation in Belarus may lead to disastrous reactions in the society.

Quote: "The Belarusian authorities are carefully monitoring the chaos that is taking place as a result of the so-called "partial mobilisation" in the Russian Federation, understanding that in case of the announcement of partial mobilisation in the Republic of Belarus, the situation will become even more complicated and may lead to a social explosion in the country."

Details: According to Ukrainian Intelligence, the Belarusian secret services are covertly studying the possible reaction of society and its readiness to engage in protests in case of mobilisation.

Ukrainian Intelligence is concerned that the illegal Belarusian regime is increasingly aware of all the dangers of its decision to openly join the Russian war against Ukraine.

That is why Lukashenko continues to make groundless announcements and show Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, that by his actions, the Belarusian dictator is fulfilling the alliance obligations. In particular, Belarus is diverting part of the reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from being deployed to the front in Ukraine’s east and south.

"Everything noted attests to the fact that the self-proclaimed Belarusian authorities are not confident in the support of large strata of the population for decisions regarding their country's participation in the military campaigns of the Russian Federation," the intelligence findings concluded.
