Via social media, 2021 and 2022 Country Music Association (CMA) Entertainer of the Year Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, announced that their family would grow with another child soon.

"Joining the 2 under 2 club! Baby boy #2 coming this September!!" stated Combs.

In a Jan. 2021 Instagram story Q & A, the former Nicole Hocking was asked by fans if she and Combs would ever have kids. "yess hopefully! I want a big family," she replied.

While there was no gender reveal, the child will have a year-old big brother, Tex Lawrence Combs, born on Father's Day, Jun. 19, 2022.

Combs and Hocking are four months away from celebrating their second wedding anniversary. They exchanged vows on Aug. 1, 2020, in an intimate ceremony at their beachside South Florida home after nearly three years engaged. Notably, his Apr. 2021-released video for "Forever After All" (his 11th consecutive No. 1 single at country radio -- a record now extended to 15) chronicles their nuptials, which were almost postponed by the threat of Hurricane Isaias hitting shore before the pair exchanged wedding vows.

In other -- related -- news, "Gettin' Old," -- Combs' fourth studio album -- will be released on Mar. 24, 2023. "Take You with Me," a new track from the album, is previewed on the pregnancy announcement post.

This announcement comes as Combs will embark on a worldwide tour from Mar.-Oct. 2023. Apr. 15 finds that tour stopping at Nashville's Nissan Stadium -- his first headlining stadium gig in Music City.
