Ahead of his world tour kicking off this summer that features a stop in North Carolina, country music star Luke Combs announced a second performance in Charlotte.

Due to the overwhelming demand for the show, Combs will extend his sold-out stadium shows in four cities, including Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium.

Officials say Combs’ tour, which has sold over 570,500 tickets so far, is the largest ever for a country star. He will play 44 shows across three continents and 16 countries.

Combs, born in Huntersville, was originally only performing at Bank of America Stadium on July 15, The Charlotte Observer previously reported. Now, local fans will be able to watch him live on stage a day earlier on July 14 as well.

“After we got to play two shows in Nashville, I decided I wanted to play more shows for the fans, so I got with my team and the stadiums, and luckily all of the July dates lined up for us, so we decided to just do it,” Combs said. “I’m really excited to be able to bring more music to more fans.”

The concerts will feature special guests Lainey Wilson; Turnpike Troubadours; Gary Allan; Old Crow Medicine Show; David Lee Murphy’ Brent Cobb, and The Avett Brothers, who are from Concord.
