Have things finally started to coalesce into place? Has order finally established itself? The 25 teams on this ballot last week (not the actual top 25, just this ballot) went a combined 38-5, the kind of strong overall performance usually seen in December when everyone’s tuning up for conference play, not in late January.

So a quiet week overall, with Penn State and LSU replacing Arizona and Marquette.

The conference breakdown: B1G (7), ACC (3), BE (3), SEC (3), B12 (2), P12 (2), A10 (1), AAC (1), MWC (1), WCC (1) and the mighty SoCon (1).
