If Luke Hemsworth gets his way, there’ll be another superstar superhero in the family.

The “Westworld” actor says he’s up to playing Wolverine if and when Hugh Jackman gives up the X-Men character.

“I really loved Todd McFarlane’s ‘Spawn.’ And then ‘Batman’ – I would have fought Rob Pattinson for those gauntlets,” the Australian actor told Screen Rant during a recent interview.

“And Wolverine! I’m like, ‘Come on, just pass them on, mate. Let’s give it to another Aussie,’” he added.

That lofty goal may not be that off-base since he is the older brother of “Thor” star Chris Hemsworth and “Hunger Games” heartthrob Liam Hemsworth.

And he did appear in a memorable scene from the hit movie “Thor: Ragnarok” with a cameo with Matt Damon.

Wolverine is expected to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox, home of the X-Men franchise.

“I’ll have to grow some chest hair, but I’m ready for Wolverine,” the classically trained Hemsworth joked.

The 39-year-old father of four added that he grew up a fan of comics: “I learned to draw through comic books, copying comic books since I was about 10 years old.”

Jackman, who made his debut as Wolverine in 2000 1/4 u2032s “X-Men,” has appeared in several other ensemble films and standalone movies over the years, most recently, in 2017 1/4 u2032s “Logan.”

After nearly two decades, the Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner has indicated that he’s pretty much done playing the character.

In 2015, he suggested British actor Tom Hardy – of “The Dark Knight Rise” and “Mad Max: Fury Road” – as a likely “Wolverine” replacement.

'"I don’t want to make it too easy on the studio to replace me, I still have one more to do," Jackman, 52, quipped.
