Lunch with The Idaho Way: Will Boise become another Portland? With Jodi Peterson of Interfaith Sanctuary

Boise Mayor Lauren McLean evoked the image of Boise becoming another Portland after the Ada County commissioners decided to end funding to house people in a downtown hotel. That’s the current hot button at the center of Boise’s growing crisis of people experiencing homelessness.

Idaho Statesman opinion editor Scott McIntosh and opinion writer Bryan Clark will talk with Interfaith Sanctuary executive director Jodi Peterson-Stigers at noon Wednesday about that decision and other problems facing people experiencing homelessness in the Treasure Valley.
