Chillwaukee pops has new owners

Sam and Alyssa Wisneski are the new owners of Chillwaukee, a Milwaukee popsicle company that makes handcrafted treats using seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms. The popsicles are sold at farmers markets, festivals and other public events throughout the city from a cargo trike, which is stocked with six to eight rotating flavors. The six-year old popsicle business says it's served 100,000 pops, and the previous owners posted on Facebook that they decided "to pursue our other careers."

Look for the pops in flavors such as lavender lemonade, strawberry mango and chocolate sea salt, from May through September. For more information visit chillwaukee.com.
