This Luxurious Barbie-Inspired Suite Has A Room Service Menu With Heart-Shaped Pizza And Pink Gnocchi
Life in plastic? It's fantastic. But life at a four-star Barbie-themed hotel in Mexico? Now that's unreal. In honor of the iconic doll's 60th anniversary, Hilton Mexico City Santa Fe has partnered with Mattel for an all-pink suite.
The hotel is literally rolling out the pink carpet for each guest's arrival. The luxurious "glamping-style" experience, which will set you back between $189 and $229 per night, features a collection of rare Barbie dolls and life-sized DreamCamper-hence the whole theme.
"It's a fusion of glamour and camping, combining the convenience and luxury of a hotel with certain aspects of traditional camping," general manager Andres Korngold said in a statement. “Barbie loves to travel, enjoys nature and cares about the environment, without forgoing the comfort of the most sophisticated accommodations. Travelers can now join in her dream glamping experience with an in-room DreamCamper that allows guests to travel in style."
To say the suite is decked out is a gross understatement. Once past the pink door and Barbie-branded welcome mat, guests will find two bedrooms: An adult room and the DreamCamper kids space. The bathroom is stocked with themed toiletries like toothbrushes, shampoo, and a Barbie styling doll. There's also that pink-hued pool cabana, so you can have an IRL glam pool party.
But honestly, the room is hardly the highlight. We're way more hyped about the heart-shaped pizza and gnocchi in pink sauce. The hotel's Madera restaurant includes an entire Barbie-inspired menu with other offerings like pink yogurt parfaits, red velvet desserts, strawberry ice cream, and more.
