The luxury cruise ship hosting World Cup fans

STORY: Guests, who will include the wives and partners of England's World Cup squad, can eat in one of 13 on-board restaurants, swim in one of the six pools and even enjoy a slide called Venom which drops 11 decks.

"The ships will be the perfect place for the fan zones, there will be all types of activities, the ship will be alive with the screens and everything,” says MSC Cruises Executive Chairman Pierfrancesco Vago.

Completed this year, the MSC Europa has capacity for 6,762 passengers and is one of the largest cruise liners in the world. It has 22 decks, is 1093 feet (333m) long and has a gross tonnage of 215,863 - making it significantly larger than the Titanic - and is powered by liquified natural gas. It has 2,626 cabins.

The Europa is one of three MSC ships that will provide accommodation during the World Cup. The others are the MSC Poesia and the MSC Opera.
