Lynda Bellingham’s Widower Speaks Out About Inheritance Dispute With Her Sons

Earlier this week, Lynda Bellingham’s two sons came forward to reveal that their stepfather had been withholding their inheritance from them, ever since their mother had passed away, 18 months earlier.

Michael and Robbie Peluso have challenged Linda’s third husband, Michael Pattemore, over the Loose Women star’s will.

They claim to have only received £750 each from their mother’s estate, while Pattemore, also known as Mr Spain, has been enjoying an around-the-world trip.

Even though there has been no evidence to suggest that he didn’t pay for the trips himself, Lynda had left the entirety of her inheritance to her partner, trusting that he would follow her wishes.

Now, speaking for the first time about the allegations, Lynda Bellingham’s widower insists that people do not know the whole story.

He told The Daily Mirror: “We are still going through probate so everything is still frozen.

“It’s frustrating that the national papers haven’t picked up on that.”

Meanwhile, Michael explained to The Mail on Sunday that he believed that his mother had wanted them to be “looked after” but Pattemore hadn’t handled proceedings, perhaps, as she had expected.

He explained: “He sat me down and instead of giving it [the will] to me, he read it. He said, ‘This sum is to be split between you and Robbie, and another sum is to be split between you, Robbie, Bradley and Stacey,’ who are his children.

"Everything’s been left to me, so it will go to you when I decide.” I was sitting there crying, thinking, 'Oh God, no.’”

Let’s hope that this dispute can be speedily resolved so we can all focus on the blessing of Lynda Bellingham’s dear memory.
