Lynn Haven's fall concert series returns to Sharon Sheffield Park. Here's who's playing

LYNN HAVEN — With fall just around the corner, the city of Lynn Haven is kicking off weekly concerts for the community.

Lynn Haven's annual fall concert series welcomes musical bands and artists to take the stage each week at Sharon Sheffield Park at 901 Ohio Ave. The seven-week series runs from Sept. 15 through Oct. 27.

Meredith Sanders, Lynn Haven's marketing coordinator, said the fall concert series is returning for its fifth year and follows a similar rundown as the city's spring concert series, which is held from March through May.

"The concerts are great for social gatherings, and we always have hundreds of people come out for our concerts," Sanders said. "Everyone is welcome to bring their blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the music and have a good time."

Free to the public, the concert series takes place on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m., creating a family-friendly atmosphere where guests can enjoy food trucks, kid-friendly activities and live music. In addition, the event is pet-friendly, but furry friends must be leashed at all times, and owners must clean up after them.

Sanders said visitors could expect up to four food trucks each night. The rotation includes That's What Cheese Said, Gelato Love, the Spice is Right, CJD Home Kitchen, Filipino Cuisine, Bookie's Breakfast Camp, Back Porch BBQ, Ice Box Shaved Ice, Patches on the Go, Fina Ice Company and Gracie's Taste of Love.

"We hope that everyone gets a chance to attend. We have some great food vendors and a great lineup this year," Sanders said. "The atmosphere will be a lot nicer as we start to see cooler temperatures, so this is a good opportunity for our communities to come out and enjoy each other."
