Rudi Garcia’s Lyon host Italian champions Juventus tonight in the knockout phase of the Champions League.

The Italian giants are the clear favourites to progress after winning their group convincingly, while Lyon scraped through a weak group in second place with just eight points.

The French side’s performance in Ligue 1 has been below par this season, as they sit seventh in Ligue 1, some 28 points behind league leaders Paris Saint Germain.

The two teams last met in the group stage of the 2016 Champions League where Juve easily won the group and Lyon were only good enough to qualify for the Europa league.

Here’s our prediction for the first leg and everything else you need to know about the game.

What time is Lyon vs Juventus?

The match kicks off at 8pm GMT at the Groupama Stadium.

How can I watch on TV?

The game will be shown live on TV in the UK, and can be watched on BT Sport 3 – coverage starts at 7pm.

Can I stream it online?

Team news

Lyon will be without one of their star players in Memphis Depay who misses out through a long-term knee injury. Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Youssef Kone are side-lined with knee and ankle injuries respectively, while Rafael and Oumar Solet are doubts for the game.

Douglas Costa (knee) and Gonzalo Higuain (back) are definitely out for the Italians. Pjanic has returned to training but the game appears to have come too soon for the Bosnian.

Predicted line-ups

Lyon: Lopes; Denayer, Marcelo, Marcal; Duboism Tousart, Guimaraes, Comet, Terrier, Toko-Ekambi, Dembele. (3-4-1-2).

Juventus: Szczesny; Danilo, Bonucci, De Ligt, Alex Sandro; Matuidi, Ramsey, Bentancur, Cuadrado; Dybala, Ronaldo. (4-4-2).

Prediction?

Lyon 1-2 Juventus. Expect Lyon to nick a goal in the game, but Juve’s quality means that they should come away from France with a victory.
