Tickets are on sale now for Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash Festival, which is coming back to Chicago in its typical mid-June time slot on June 17-19 with some of the biggest names in rap and hip-hop.

This year’s headliners include Post Malone and Playboi Carti, while Young Thug and Gunna will appear together for their first joint festival performance. The three-day event will also feature Wiz Khalifa, Trippie Redd, Oliver Tree, 2 Chainz, Yeat, Lil Tecca and Rico Nasty, as well as Chicago natives Polo G and G Herbo.

Summer Smash attracted more than 90,000 people in 2021, making it one of the biggest independent music festivals in the U.S. “It’s been incredible to witness our fest grow into one of the largest annual music events in the country in only four short years,” festival director Berto Solorio said in a recent announcement of the fest.

Solorio added that this year’s festival will feature larger stages and more food trucks, as well as other amenities.

June 17-19 in Douglass Park, 1401 S. Sacramento Drive; three-day passes are $275-$450 at thesummersmash.com
