'I’m gonna die in my boots': Beth Chapman's first posthumous TV appearance set for fall
The date is finally set for Beth Chapman's first posthumous television appearance.
For the first time since the "Dog the Bounty Hunter" star's death from lung cancer last month, Chapman will appear alongside her husband Duane "Dog" Chapman in a new, unscripted series called "Dog's Most Wanted," premiering Wednesday, Sept. 4, on WGN America (9 EDT).
The series will follow the couple as they track down fugitives across the country with a team of fellow bounty hunters Dog calls "The Dirty Dozen."
The show will also chronicle Beth's final bounty hunts before her death.
“My wife is, was, and always will be the heart and soul of ‘Dog’s Most Wanted,’” Duane said in a press release given to USA TODAY. “Beth wanted nothing more than for the show to go on, and I am so proud of the legacy that she left behind. She lived and died for this show, and she would be so proud of how hard we worked bringing these criminals to justice.”

A two-day marathon of "Dog the Bounty Hunter" starting on Sept. 3 will lead into the new show's premiere.
“Once you find out that's it’s an incurable lung cancer, there’s no stage 5,” Beth says in the latest trailer.
“I love her and I’ll do anything for her,” Duane says in the trailer.
Duane also took to Twitter to celebrate the announcement of the show's premiere.
"Fe Fi Fo Fum Look out America here we come We’re going to make America Safe Again !!!!" he wrote.
According to the press release, the series will show Beth bringing criminal to justice while battling her terminal illness.
“If I’m gonna die," she says in the trailer, "I’m gonna die in my boots."
