Canada’s indifference to the 1985 Air India bombing is disturbing

On June 23, 1985, Air India Flight 182 departed Toronto via Montreal for Delhi with 329 passengers and crew, mostly Canadians of Indian ancestry. The end of the school year in Canada had brought the promise of visiting places and people in India, the country from which their families had immigrated. The children—dearly loved daughters, sons, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends—were innocents whose lives ended by an act of terror.
