Portland Internet monitoring startup sells business line to Pittsburgh software maker

Portland home wireless monitoring startup Circle Media Labs has sold one of its business lines to Pittsburgh software maker Smith Micro Software (Nasdaq: SMSI) for $13.5 million. For instance, in 2018, Circle inked a deal with T-Mobile to power its FamilyMode service. Circle’s product allows parents to monitor their family’s Internet usage.
