Major public firm searching for new home for $950M 'crown jewel'

Equifax Inc. (NYSE: EFX) is in the market for land to build a new office building to serve its booming, $950 million division in St. Louis. The credit reporting agency is aiming to build a 300,000-square-foot office property along Interstate 64 in west St. Louis County or near the I-270/64 corridor to consolidate its Workforce Solutions division. It currently leases 100,000 square feet of space in both Westport, at 11432 Lackland Road, and Earth City, at3470 Rider Trail S. Both locations are owned by California-based Griffin Capital.
