Denver's housing market shifting toward buyer, but remains 'very hot'

Housing markets across the country are cooling off after several years of growth and Denver’s market is no different. “While things are shifting in favor of buyers, Denver is still a very hot housing market,” said Cheryl Young, senior economist at Trulia, a listing site owned by Zillow Group (Nasdaq: Z). Young is a speaker on a panel today at the Denver Housing Forum where she will outline statistical trends about the metro’s market that could be used to help shape future housing policy, especially when it comes to affordability.
