An FBI agent was shot Saturday during a drive-by while he was conducting surveillance in Brooklyn, New York City’s NBC affiliate reported. The agent, who was not identified in the NBC New York report, suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder and underwent surgery at Kings County Hospital. The agent was conducting surveillance as part of a drug investigation in the Canarsie neighborhood when the alleged shooter drove a BMW the wrong way down a one-way street, and then blasted the agent’s car, sources told NBC New York.
