U.S. Supreme Court to review $20B racial discrimination lawsuit against Comcast

The U.S. Supreme Court will take up Comcast’s attempt to have a $20 billion racial discrimination lawsuit brought against it dismissed. In a victory for the Philadelphia-based media giant, the country’s top federal court announced Monday it has agreed to review a decision from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in California that allowed a lawsuit that media executive Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios and the National Association of African American-Owned Media brought against Comcast to move forward.
