RealNetworks announced Thursday a deal with Florida-based Syniverse to expand the Seattle company’s application-to-person texting platform, Kontxt. RealNetworks, in its annual financial report that was issued earlier this month, posted $172.1 million in 2019 revenue, including $106.3 million from Napster, which it acquired in early 2019. Last week, RealNetworks CEO Rob Glaser invested nearly $10 million of his own money into the company.
