Now in the first ad campaign for the new flavored whiskey brand, ad agency FCB Chicago is making a definitive statement about what it means to select this new flavored version of Jack Daniel’s. Most of the 30-second debut commercial depends on visuals for its messaging with repeated iterations of an apple silhouette encapsulating various images — including the whiskey bottle that contains the new Jack Daniel’s product and close-up shots of distinctively amber whiskey sloshing around inside the apple. The recurring shots of the apple certainly reinforce the point that this is an apple-flavored variation on Jack Daniel’s — which has to be at the core of any consumer’s decision about whether to try Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple.
