Former JetBlue gate agent faces prison for giving $1M worth of free travel

A former JetBlue employee is facing up to 20 years in prison for scamming the New York-based airline of nearly $1 million in flights. Tiffany Jenkins plead guilty in federal court in Boston to using her position as an airline gate agent to convert primarily low-cost domestic flights to more expensive international flights at no additional charge for family, friends and acquaintances. According to a prepared statement from U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling, Jenkins committed the fraud over the course of a 15-month period.
