Google CEO will now testify before Congress December 11th

President Bush's funeral takes place the day Sundar Pichai was set to appear.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai was scheduled to appear before the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday, but that's no longer the case following the death of George H. W. Bush. The former president's funeral will take place that day and, as such, Pichai's hearing has been rearranged for December 11th at 10 AM ET.

He's expected to face questions on issues including privacy, antitrust and purported bias against conservatives. Pichai and Alphabet CEO Larry Page raised the ire of Senate Intelligence Committee members after they declined to attend a hearing in September -- Twitter chief executive Jack Dorsey and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg both testified.
