MAC Cosmetics x Whitney Houston Collection Makes You Feel Like Every Woman

Ladies, there’s another stocking stuffer coming your way. The new collaboration from MAC cosmetics and the Whitney Houston estate is here and it might just make you want to dance with somebody!

The limited-edition MAC Cosmetics x Whitney Houston Collection is sure to stun! The partnership is the perfect ode to Nippy and her iconic style. Houston was known for her looks and the cosmetic brand honors that with glamorous lipsticks and lipglasses, gorgeous eyeshadow palette, show-stopping lashes and more.

MAC Cosmetics worked with many people close to the singer. Some being Pat Houston, the executor of Whitney Houston’s estate, as well as her sister-in-law and former manager, to help create the products. In a press event, Pat discussed  in Whitney Houston’s approach to beauty. “Whitney grew up around beauty with her mother being in the entertainment industry, as well as several aunts and her mother’s friends who were also very glamorous – Dionne Warwick, Roberta Flack, Aretha Franklin, Nancy Wilson and Whitney’s favorite Leena Horne,” he said. “She just grew up around glamour and just watching her mother and doing her makeup from a young age. Whitney would be practicing doing her makeup in front of mirrors with a broomstick in her hand – it was a no brainer for her.”

The collection will feature 11 limited-edition capsule products, including lipsticks, high-shine lip gloss, blush, an eye shadow palette meant to recreate the singer’s smoky eye shadow look, a disco ball-inspired makeup bag and a set of round eyelashes.

The limited MAC X Whitney Houston collection retails for $20 to $44 and is available now at maccosmetics.com, in MAC stores, and at Macy’s.
