MacKenzie Scott, ex-wife of Jeff Bezos, repotedly divorces again

She’s still in her prime.

Amazon owner Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife MacKenzie Scott is single again after finalizing her divorce from chemistry teacher Dan Jewett, TMZ reports. The pair announced their marriage in March 2021, with Scott filing for divorce in September 2022. TMZ said the pair signed a private separation contract that will determine asset settlements.

Scott, 52, divorced Bezos in 2019, ending more than 25 years of marriage. She received almost $34 billion — half of which she pledged to charity. The pair has four children. Jewett, who has no children with Scott, is an instructor at her kids’ private school in Washington.

Bezos is the fourth-richest person on Earth according to Forbes, which puts his worth at $112.4 billion. Scott was the world’s richest woman in 2020, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index. She’s now worth nearly $20 billion, making her the 73rd wealthiest person alive.

Scott is also a Princeton University-educated writer who won a 2006 American Book Award for her 2005 debut novel “The Testing of Luther Albright.”

Bezos has been linked to former “Good Day LA” co-host Lauren Sánchez since 2019.
